Pakistan Approves Release of Blocked Payments, Avoid the Threat of Suspension Google Services

playstore.pngThe Ministry of Finance has decided to unblock prohibited payments to international service providers, including tech giant Google, so that Google Play Store services can continue to be utilized in Pakistan.

The news is concerning because the State Bank of Pakistan recently banned the direct carrier billing (DCB) method, raising concerns that consumers won't be able to access the paid Google Play Store services scheduled to start, December 1 (today).

In the midst of the anxiety, the Finance Ministry has accepted the IT Minister's suggestion to create a reliable system for paying for Google App services.
